The musical 'Vanishing' is set in 1925 Gyeongju Province and depicts the conflict between the life of eternity and the life of the moment as medical students 'Ui-shin' and 'Myeong-ryul' stumble upon the vampire 'K'. Selected for the Korea Creative Content Agency's Youth Creative Work Support Project in 2016, the musical has built up a large fan base since its premiere with expectations of being a well-made musical with a 'K-vampire' theme. 'Vanishing' means 'disappearing' and is a story about eternity, annihilation, and understanding different presence.
- One day, Euisin and Myeongryeol, medical students at the Gyeongseong Medical School, bring a corpse to the abandoned house without permission for their anatomy practice. Then, they are threatened by an unknown presence named K who suffers from sunlight. Euisin starts to secretly research to cure his disease without knowing that he is a vampire. And as the disappearance and murder cases continue on campus, all of them have bloodless and bitten necks.
Myeongryeol suspects K as the suspect of the murder case and even Euisin, who he believed in, realizes Kay's blood-sucking desires.
Finally, K, who is cornered, shares his blood with Euisin and Myeongryeol.
